Yoga for Young Bodies & Minds

In order for students to succeed at school and in life, it’s crucial for them to develop self-regulation skills. Children and adolescents are exposed to a variety of stressors at school and at home. These stressors can range from extreme chronic stress such as living through poverty or abuse, to relatively minor stressors such as test anxiety.

The ‘Yoga for young bodies and minds’ project aims to help children:

  • Balance stressors, regulate their emotions, increase their resilience
  • Improve their concentration and memory
  • Improve their mood and self confidence
  • Improve self-love & self-care.
