Early years’ education in the Vanni district is in a very poor state. There are over 100 pre-schools in both Mullaithivu & Thunnukkai districts. We fund a high quality training program for these teachers. With trained, qualified and inspirational teachers in place who are properly resourced, the charity believes an interest in learning will be re-ignited to the benefit of the children and in fact the entire community.</p>
The training takes place twice a year, one in August & the second one in December. On the completion of the second part, the teachers will receive a certificate accredited by the National Education Board
